CCPD will host its annual National Night Out, which is a nationwide event that brings local police departments and community together to create a partnership. According to the NNO website, “Neighborhoods host block parties, festivals, parades, cookouts and various other community events with safety demonstrations, seminars, youth events, visits from emergency personnel, exhibits and much, much more.”

You can start getting your neighbors together and organizing your block party. CCPD will give the first 20 groups to register their block party a $100 gift card. To register your group, call 303-287-2844. There will also be awards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place groups based on community involvement and creativity. Police and fire departments will attend the neighborhood events.
