Nearby residents and businesses are invited to a neighborhood meeting to discuss options for improving safety at the intersection of E. 72nd Avenue and Locust Street. Traffic crashes occur at an unusually high rate at this intersection, so the city is evaluating possible changes to parking and/or traffic alignments to help make the intersection safer. The feedback we receive from members of the public at this meeting will help decide the city’s approach to correcting the current traffic safety concerns.
