Commerce City will host an information session for potential candidates on Wednesday, August 7 at 6 p.m. at the civic center, 7887 E. 60th Ave. While not mandatory, the meeting will provide all candidates information about municipal government and elections. 

Turn your ideas for the community into action and run for city council in the 2019 municipal election. The city’s nine council members create the vision for Commerce City, pass laws, and review and approve the annual budget. On Nov. 5, voters will elect the Mayor and council members for Ward II, Ward IV, and two at-large representatives.
