Nearly 1 in 4 active duty members experience some type of mental health condition. According to the US Department of Veterans Affairs, 20 veterans die by suicide each day. Mental Health First Aid Military & Veterans Module teaches how to respond to signs of mental health challenges and substance misuse with a specific focus on cultural factors related to military life, and how to locate mental health resources in Colorado that support veterans, military members and their families. The class is free, but registration is required.
