If you have household chemicals or other hazardous waste items to clear out (i.e. cleaners, weed killer/pesticides, rechargeable batteries, etc.), this week is your chance to dispose of them safely. On June 17 and June 20 only, Veolia Environmental Services (9131 E. 96th Ave.) is waiving the normal $20 per vehicle fee and discounting the materials charge to only 85 cents per pound for residents.

Cash and credit cards accepted. Proof of residency required. No charge for paint and stains.
