The city’s Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program expects to receive about $2.1 million from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to carry out programs over the next five years (2021-2025) that benefit low to moderate-income residents in Commerce City. The funding addresses community needs associated with housing, economic development, public facilities and services.
Public input is needed to identify and prioritize economic, community development, and housing improvements to include in the city’s CDBG Consolidated Plan, which is then submitted to HUD for funding approval.
