Throughout this year and into 2023, the city invites residents to participate in two major projects that will shape the city for years to come: a governance survey to collect resident feedback about the makeup of City Council seats, and redistricting the city's wards to ensure they meet constitutional requirements. 

The first virtual informational session on redistricting in Commerce City is coming up on Wednesday, Jan. 19 at 6 p.m. to help the public learn about theses processes and how you can get involved. Resident input is crucial to making sure the makeup of city council and the city’s wards are serving in the best interests of people across the community.
