As Commerce City's rapid growth continues, the city is working to balance the need for increased service levels with managing city resources and budgets. To help us do this, the city has enlisted Willdan Financial Services to evaluate our user fees and how they compare to the costs of supporting various city activities.

This meeting allows stakeholders to discuss Willdan’s comprehensive review of city fees, ask questions about methodology, and learn about next steps for updating the user fees.

User fees for city services or facilities include those for building permits, business licenses, police records requests, and recreation fees, just to name a few. While fees for recreation centers and programs were included in this study, recreation fees will not increase in 2023 as a result of the study (although they would likely be increased at some point in the future).
